An event to donate cash assistance for carrying out preventive measures against COVID-19 was held at a public hospital in Kyaunggon Township, Ayeyawady Region this morning.

On the occasion, Former President U Thein Sein and wife Daw Khin Khin Win donated Ks. one million, U Thaung and family, Ks. one million, the township COVID-19 preventive committee 15 kinds of medical equipment worth Ks. 2.2 million, U Khin Aung Swe and Daw Yi Yi Htay, Ks. 200,000, the township video censorship committee, Ks. 120,000, and two families pesticides worth Ks. 200,000 totaling over Ks. 4.7 million to an official from the public hospital.—Win Kyaing (IPRD)
