Cash and kind were provided to the internally displaced people who resettled in their native village in Mansi Township, Kachin State.
    

At the ceremony, Township Administrator U Kyaw Khaung delivered an address and an official explained the purpose of provisions. Next, the Upper House MP U Naing Ko Ko and concerned officials supplied cash and kind to the IDPs. The Department of Disaster Management under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement furnished the IDPs with K 100,000 each and relief items such as rice, cooking oil, legumes and iodine salt.
    

Afterwards, officials also looked into the progress of a village road built by the DRD under the Cash For Work plan.
