THE CENTRAL Bank of Myanmar Governor U Kyaw Kyaw Maung received Ambassador of the United States Mr Scot Marciel, US-ASEAN Business Council President Mr Alexander C Feldman and party at the Zabuthiri Hall of CBM in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed matters related to increasing economic cooperation between the two countries, trade and investment, services of banks and financial affairs, insurance, development of information communications technology, progress of electronic cash transaction and E-payment system in finance and banking sector of Myanmar, and development of Myanmar’s financial sector and capital market.
