The closed-circuit televisions are being installed in downtown areas of YeU Township in Sagaing Region to ensure better security and safety of the locals.
    

Technicians from Yangon-based Htet UK Group Company are installing five CCTVs at an entrance to YeU, a junction, a clock tower, Mu River crossing bridge, a traffic light and an exit from the town with K 190 million allocated by the regional government in the current fiscal year under the management of the township development committee.
    

A control center was also set up at the office of township police force to monitor the CCTVs.
