Tamwe, 18 November
A ceremony to mark the 102nd Anniversary of National Victory Day was held in conjunction with prize awarding event at No. 4 Basic Education High School in Tamwe Township of east central Yangon, Yangon Region on November 17. First, the national victory day ceremony was honored with a song, identified as “Pyi Myanmar” by students from No. 4 Basic Education High School.
Afterwards, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Koe Aung read out the message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Senior General Min Aung Hlaing to the ceremony to mark the 102nd National Victory Day.
This was followed by the presentation of prizes to the students who were winners in essay writing competition. Then, a student who won an outstanding award spoke words of thanks on behalf of students to officials. Next, students from No. 4 B.E.H.S. honored the ceremony with Zatiman song. After that U Koe Aung presents honorary awards to the students.
Then, the students and officials looked round photos and posters of National Victoria Day exhibited in the school. Next, staff from the Township IPRD distributed pamphlets of National Victoria Day free of charge.
Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Koe Aung and members, officials from the Township Basic Education Department, teachers, students and invited guests attended the event.—Naing Lin Aung (IPRD)
