Yedashe, October 29

A child was hit to death by a road grinder machine in a village in Yedashe Township, Bago region yesterday, according to Swa area police station.

The incident took place at around 6:00 pm in new Kyundawsu village when Tin Myint, the driver of the road grinder machine backed up the machine and run down one of the children playing near the machine.

The victim named Kaung Myat who was one year and six months old was killed right at the spot.  The accident occurred while the driver of the road grinder machine was leveling the main road of the newly-established village of Kyundawsu. 

Local police brought charges against the driver of road grinder machine under section 304 (a) of penal code, according to Swa area police station.
