Children’s literature festival to take place in eight townships in Ayeyawady Region

With an arrangement of Ayeyawady Regional Government, Information and Public Relations Department, Department of Education and Township Management Committee will jointly conduct children’s literature festival in eight townships in the region in coming January, 2020.

The festival will be conducted on 3 and 4 January in Ingapu Township, 7 and 8 January in Labutta Township, 10 and 11 January in Kyonpyaw Township, 13 and 14 January in Myanaung, 15 and 16 January in Nyaungdon Township, 24 and 25 January in Yekyi Township, 27 and 28 January in Kyangin and 29 and 30 January in Bogale Township.

The festival includes poetry competition, storytelling competition, literary talks and discussion and other competitions. In addition, there will be children reading room and book fairs. Those who are interested can take part in the festival, according to the regional Information and Public Relations Department.
