Falam 12 January

Chin State Chief Minister U Salai Lian Luai, State Minister for Social Affairs U Pau Lun Min Thang, State Auditor U Larr Tin Man and departmental personnel met with fire victims in Phahtauk Ward in the town of Falam and spoke words of encouragement to them. 

First, the State Chief Minister gave remarks and the State Minister for Social Affairs clarified the purpose of the provision.  Next, the officials provided rescue kits with 17 items and cash aids for purchasing rice to 14 households. 

Due to a fire broke out in Phahtauk Ward in the town of Falam at about 4:10 am on January 12, six houses were destroyed and two women were burnt to death in the fire.
