South Korean prosecutors are questioning the wife of Justice Minister Cho Kuk for the first time over shady investments and other allegations involving the family.
South Korea's Yonhap news agency reports the wife was summoned Thursday morning.
Prosecutors have already arrested a male relative of Cho who is said to be a key figure of a company that manages funds for Cho's wife.
The wife was indicted without arrest early last month on suspicion of forging a school award to give her daughter an advantage in applying for graduate school.
Yonhap says whether the prosecution will seek an arrest warrant for the wife and whether the court will issue one is expected to become a crucial moment in the ongoing probe.
