Ahmar, 21 November
Reconstruction of the collapsed Seikma creek crossing bridge on the Ahmar-Pyapon Road has begun by the Bridge Construction Group – 16 under the Ministry of Construction.
The new bridge will be 280 ft. long and is being built mostly from reinforced concrete. Employees from the Bridge Construction Group – 16 are making efforts to complete the project as schedule and construction works for the tiers have been about 40 percent finished. In addition three boats are ready to transport the passengers while the bridge is being constructed.
Concerned officials are managing task to finish the bridge construction project in a timely manner.—Win Myint Aung (IPRD)
