Union Minister for Commerce Dr Than Myint inspected the new office of Myanmar International Trade Center in Yangon yesterday morning.

He also looked into the booths of Myanmar export products and the 1st Myanmar Startup Show there.

The new MITC facility was set up at the building of the Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization, located at the corner of Merchant Road and Bosonepat Street in Yangon, to operate it as a center for encouraging trade, economy and private sector of the country in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) modality.

The center has also accommodated Myanmar product booths, offices of international trade promotion organizations, the office of Ease of Doing Business to help commercial firms, the Exporter Help Desk for exporters and the Young Exporter Club for collecting foreign market information. —MNA (Translated by Aung Khin)
