Competition winners received awards in Moegaung Tsp

A total of 47 students, who won competitions for painting, cartoon, poster and computer, were given prizes in a ceremony to commemorate 32nd International Day against Drug Abuse and Illegal Trafficking held in Basic Education High School in the town of Mogaung, Moehnyin district, Kachin state this morning. 

After an opening speech by deputy township administrator U Zayyar Sithu, Police Major Win Myint Aung read out the message sent from Lt Gen Kyaw Swe, chairman of the Central Committee for Prevention of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances. Police Captain Myo Nyunt dealt with crime reduction and prevention of the dangers of drugs. 

The prize-giving ceremony was attended by MP Dr Khin Ma Gyi and Daw Mya Thway San, deputy township administrator, personnel at township level, head of the township police force and policemen, ward and village administrators, the competition winners and their parents.—Than Lwin Oo (IPRD)
