With the aim of boosting computer skills and knowledge of students, a computer and a printer worth K 1.2 million were provided to B.E.H.S in Udein Village, Mattaya Township, Mandalay Region this morning.

 

At the event, patron of the School Committee U Tint Swe delivered an opening speech and donors U Myo Min Tun from Yangon and U Nyein Chan from Myitkyina clarified the purpose of the donation. The computer and printer were accepted by Headmaster U Zaw Tun Oo and concerned official from the village. Afterwards, Headmaster U Zaw Tun Oo spoke words of thanks to the donors on behalf of the teachers and students.

 

Also present on the occasion were members of the school committee, community leaders, Headmaster, teachers, students and others. Altogether 351 students—150 in primary school, 131 in middle school and 70 in high school, are studying in the school, it is learnt.—Soe Kyaw Thu Htway
