With the aim of providing a better road to local people, a road has been upgraded to a concrete one in Saeyon ward, Wakema township, Myaungmya district, Ayeyarwady region yesterday morning.

The road upgraded to concrete road was formerly a tarred road full of gaping holes and mainly used by local people, schoolchildren, sellers and buyers in the township. The concrete road measuring 323 feet in length, 30 feet in wide and eight feet in height is being constructed by a construction company under the supervision of the township development committee.

K 21 million allocated by the township development committee will be spent on the construction of the concrete road.—Lun Thiha (IPRD)
