Concrete road opens to mark 79th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day in Lemyethna Township

Opening ceremony of a new concrete road to mark 79th anniversary of Armed Forces Day (Tatmadaw Day) which falls on March 27 was held at the entrance of the road in Lemyethna Township of Ayeyawady Region yesterday afternoon.

On the occasion, the region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win, the region Security and Border Affairs Minister Colonel Moe Min Naing and the region Social Affairs Minister U Khin Maung Kyi cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the concrete road.

Letthamakayin-Pasanga inter-village concrete road in Lemyethna Township which is 1000 ft. in length, 10 ft. in width and six inches in volume was constructed with K 19.9 million of the regional government’s funds for 2023-2024 FY, according to the Township Department of Rural Development.—Township IPRD
