Einme, 20 April

 

A concrete road was inaugurated at the entrance of the road in Asukyi Village in Einme Township, Myaungmya District in Ayeyarwady Region on 20 April.  The road was undertaken by Department of Rural Development under Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development.

 

First of all, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Khaing Tun Zaw delivered an opening speech. Afterwards, Administrator of Thapyaekwin village tract U Win Zaw Tun spoke words of thanks to the government for opening the road.

 

Then, the Township Administration Council U Khaing Tun Zaw, members of the Township Administration Council Major Kaung Myant San and Dr. Than Htay, staff officer of the Township DRD U Tin Myo Lwin and village Administrator U Win Zaw Tun cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the road. Then, officials looked round the road.

 

The newly opened road measuring 880 ft. long, six ft. wide and six ft. thick was constructed with loans of emerald green project and it will benefit local people from 100 households in the village.—Chit Thet Le(Einme)
