Taungdwingyi, 13 October

 

A rural concrete road was inaugurated to public in Mankyigon Village in Taungdwingyi Township of Magway Region on 12 October morning.

 

At the ceremony, chairman of the Township Administration Council U Kyaw Zin Oo delivered a speech. Next, Chairman of village Development Committee U Hla Tun discussed matters relating to construction works of the road. Then, in-charge person of the village Administrator U Kyaw Swa Tun spoke words of thanks to the government on behalf of the villagers.

 

Afterwards, chairman of the Township Administration Council U Kyaw Zin Oo, member-1 of the Township Administration Council Major Thet Khaing Tun, member-2 of the Township Administration Council U Hla Thaung and staff officer of the Township Department of Rural Development U Khup Mung Lian cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the road. 

 

The concrete road measuring 547 ft. long, 12 ft. wide and 6 inches thick was constructed by the Department of Rural Development at a cost of more than Ks. 11.00 million in total.—Than Lwin(Magway)
