Taungdwingyi, 19 October

A rural concrete road was inaugurated to public in Kanhlakan Village in Taungdwingyi Township of Magway Region on 19 October morning.

At the event, chairman of the Township Administration Council U Kyaw Zin Oo and members, Director of the Region DRD U Soe Maung and staff officer of the Township Department of Rural Development U Khup Mung Lian cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the road.

The concrete road measuring 2370 ft. long, 12 ft. wide and 6 inches thick was constructed by the Department of Rural Development at a cost of more than Ks. 10.00 million in total.

The road will benefit 1062 local people from Kanhlakan Village in the Township.—Naing Win (IPRD)
