Opening ceremony of a concrete road to mark 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day was held in Nadi Aungmye Ward in the town of Kyonmange, Wakhem Township, Ayeyawady Region yesterday morning.
Secretary of the Township Administration Council Police Major Zaw Naing OO, member-2 of the Township Administration Council U Man Tun Myint, member-3 of the Township Administration Council U Kyaw Soe, executive officer of the Township Development Committee and locals attended the event, and jointly cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the road.
The road which is 1880 ft. long, 18ft. wide and six inches thick has been constructed since February 15 this year by the Township Development committee with Ks.16.85 million allocated by the Union Government in 2022-2023 FY and now all the projects were completed by 100 percent, according to an official from the Township Development Committee.—Hein Htet Linn(IPRD)
