A concrete road, which was constructed by the Rural Development Department with VDP funds, was inaugurated in Thabutbin village, Tada-U Township this morning.
First, MP Daw Soe Nwe Aye of Pyithu Hluttaw, Deputy Township Administrator U Thiha Aung, Staff Officer U Saw Zaw Win Tun of Township Rural Development Department, and Chairman of the village road committee U Kyaw Tint formally opened the newly-built road and inspected it.
Next, MP Daw Soe Nwe Aye and the Deputy Township Administrator gave remarks and then, village administrator U Naing Win expressed words of thanks. The official from the Rural Development Department handed over proper documents to the members of the village road committee.
The road which is 1,700 ft long, 12 ft wide and 6 inches high was constructed with K 10 million allocated by VDP and over K 6 million contributed by public. The new facility will provide better transport to 750 local residents from 142 households.
