With the aim of ensuring traffic safety and boosting the socioeconomic development of local people, Bokepyin-Ohntawkan Bridge is being constructed by Bridge Special Team-13.

The bridge is being constructed with K 1400 million allocated by funds of Taninthayi Region in 2018-2019 and K 500 million allotted by funds of Taninthayi Region in 2019-2020 FY. The construction was started on 18 April 2019 and now it has been completed by 40 percent, said Deputy Director U Kyaw Kyaw Win of Bridge Special Team-13.

Upon completion, it will bring the socioeconomic development of local people and agricultural products will be distributed to market place with safe time and money.
