CONSTRUCTION  of  the  city  hall will be completed very soon in Indaw town, Katha District, Sagaing  region,  according  to  officials.

The building for the city hall was built in the 2016-2017 fiscal year (FY) at a cost of Ks 50 mil-lion  from  the  regional  govern-ment's supplementary budget, K 80.00 million from the region-al  municipal  fund  and  K  32.85  million from Indaw municipal's supplementary budget. Howev-er, K 120.00 million is needed to complete  the  project,  and  officials have submitted a proposal to the government. 

Construction of the city hall is nearly 100 per cent complete. 

The  steel  frame  one  story building is 165 feet in length and 80 feet in width, and cost K 282.85 million. The building was built by the Indaw municipal en-gineer team, led by engineer U Min Min Soe, under the super-vision of the township municipal committee.
