Shan State Minister for Bamar Ethnic Affairs Dr. Aung Than Maung inspected the construction of Community Center in Taunggyi yesterday.

During his inspection, Deputy Director U Soe Nyunt Shwe from State Information and Public Relations Department and administrative director from Myanma Kyalsin Lin Construction Company clarified the salient points of the construction. The State Minister for Bamar Ethnic Affairs gave guidelines on the needs for construction.

The construction of five-storey staff apartment and three-storey shop building has been completed by 60 percent. The construction of Community Center will be started this month said Administrative Director from the company.

The Community Center with 65 ft in length and 41 ft in width will be seven-storey building and it will include public library, children reading room, ethnic traditional cultural museum, training hall, entertainment hall, multi-purpose hall, meeting hall, sporting hall, hall for the disabled and book shops. Upon completion, all interested people can visit the building.
