With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, the Township Department of Rural Development implemented concrete roads in Sekyi Ywarhaung and Sekyi Ywarthit Villages in Wuntho Township, Sagaing Region and now, all the projects were completed by 100 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.
A concrete road measuring 1100 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in thickness in Sekyi Ywarhaung and a concrete road measuring 1100 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in thickness in Sekyi Ywarthit were constructed with Ks. 10 million each of DRD’s allocated funds in 2020-2021 FY.
The Township Department of Rural Development is reportedly implementing 23 Rural Development Projects in the Township.—Kyaw Myaing, IPRD
