Construction of the rural roads being implemented by the Department of Rural Development with the allotted funds by the local government in the fiscal year 2019-2020 have been about 50 percent finished so far, according to an official from the DRD.
Five rural roads ranging from gravel road to earthen one are being built by a private construction company with around Ks. 250 million. Chairman of the township level quality inspection committee and township management committee Township Administrator U Kyaw Moe Lwin and committee members inspected progress into construction of rural roads on 17 May.—Phoe Khwar (IPRD)
