Officials from the Department of Rural Development made field trips to two villages in Budalin Township, Sagaing Region to inspect progress on construction of two rural roads.

They looked into construction of a rural road measuring 2700 ft. in length, and 10 ft. in width and another road with a capacity of 5,050 ft. in length and 12 ft. in width in Htatan and Naypugon Villages. They heard reports presented by village committee members and called for timely completion of the projects.

The rural roads are being built with Ks. 33.5 million funded by the department under its “Village Development Plan” and contributed by local people.—Yin Min Aung (IPRD)
