Sumprabum 30 August

Construction of a multipurpose hall in Karanyan village in Sumprabum Township, Putao District, Kachin State was started from the first week of May and now it has been completed by 90 percent, according to Township Department of Rural Development.

The hall which is 50 ft in length, 30 ft in width and 12 ft in height was built with K 10 million allocated by funds of village develoopment project VDP and over K 1.4 million contributed by local peopel. Township Officer U Thant Zin Oo and officials from Townsip Department of Rural Development made an inspection at the construction site and urged the responsible people to meet the set standard within the target date.

In 2019-2020 FY, developomental works such as construction of a concrete road and three mulitpurpose halls are being implemented in four villages incluidng Karanyan villge in the Township.
