Hpa-an 7 August

Officials from Hpa-an Township Department of Rural Development made a field trip to inspect the construction work of Ninekya-Hlaingwar inter-village road in Hpa-an Township, Kayin State.

The officials from the District and Township Departments of Rural Development inspected the construction of rural road measuring five furlong in length, 12 ft in width and six inches in volume with the members of village development committee. They then urged the responsible people from the tender winning company to meet the set standard within the target date.

The road is being conducted with K 111.375 million of funds of Kayin State Government by Waibonmya Construction Company starting from 16 June and now, it has been completed by 80 percent. Upon completion, it will bring socioeconomic development to a total of 1035 people from 216 households.
