Officials from Kanma Township Department of Rural Development inspected the construction of a rural bridge in Htantaw village in Kanma Township, Thayat District, Magway Region on February 17.

The officials inspected the completion of the construction and called for the timely completion of the project. Then they urged those responsible for the project to focus on the quality of durability of the bridge.

The bridge measuring 20 ft in lenght, 14 ft in width and six ft in height is being built with K 20 million allocated by funds of the Department of the Rural Development. Upon completion, it will benefit a total of 368 people from 99 household and 275 acres of their farmland. In addition, the agricultural products will be delivered to the markets with saving time and money.
