The construction of a rural road in Seikkyi Village, Kungyangon Township, Twantay District, Yangon Region, aimed at improving the flow of goods and saving time and money, has reached 95% completion.
This morning, officials from the Township Department of Rural Development visited the site to inspect the progress of the road construction. During the inspection, they provided necessary guidance to the responsible persons from the construction company.
The road, which is 3.182 miles long, 12 feet wide and 9 inches thick, has been under construction since June of last year. The project is being carried out by a tender winning company with a budget of K 46.96 million.—Maung Khaing
