With the aims to facilitate public transportation and to ensure fast commodity flow, the Department of Development for Border Areas and National Races is undertaking to upgrade the rural roads in border areas across the nation.

Now, a rural road is being built with K 123.418 million allocated by funds of Shan State Government in Langhko Township, Shan State (South) during 2020-2021 FY. Officials from the Department inspected the construction of the rural road this morning.

The construction is being conducted by Loi Sai Hein Construction Company under the supervision of the District Development Supervisory Office. It is expected to be completed in April, 2021.
