With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, construction work of a rural road has been implemented in Namhhwelung Village in Monghpyak Township, Shan State(East) since August  24 this year and all the projects have been completed 45 percent so far, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

 

Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the construction work of a rural road on 5 October and gave necessary instructions including to meet the construction deadlines and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance. 

 

The rural road measuring one mile in length, 12 ft. in width and one ft. in thickness is being constructed by a tender wining company with Ks. 56.46 million allotted by the Union Government in 2022-2023 fiscal years. 

 

Once completed, the road will benefit 60 acres of farmland of 98 local people from 12 households in the village, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development,--Zin Mar(DRD)
