With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, the Township Department of Rural Development  implemented a rural road in Namhti Village in Namhkham Township, Muse District, Shan State(North) and all the projects have been completed by 100 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

Staff led by staff officer of the Township Department of Rural Development U Tint Naing Moe inspected completion of rural road construction in Namti Village in the Township.

A rural road measuring one mile and four furlongs in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in height plus one box culvert are being constructed by spending Ks.54.412 million of DRD’s allocated funds in 2020-2021 FY since the first week of January this year.

Once completed, it will benefit 1345 rural people from 249 households in the village, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Soe Moe Kyaw
