A stake-driving ceremony for construction of a four-storey staff apartment was held in the compound of a 50-bedded public hospital in Twantay Township, Yangon Region this morning.
Firstly, the Lower House MP U Myint Lwin gave an opening speech. Dr. Daw Hsint Hsint Thi, an official from the Department of Livestock Breeding and Veterinary said that governmental staff will be able to dedicate their life to serving in their job as they no longer worry about accommodation which is important to them. She also expressed words of thanks for construction of the staff housing by the government.
Next, the Lower House legislator, the regional lawmaker, Township Administrator U Mo Khaing Tun, representatives from the Department of Health under the Ministry of Health and Sports and departmental officials drove the stakes at designated places in the construction site and sprinkled scented water on it.
The staff housing will be built by a private construction company named “NantthaU Company” with Ks. 346 million of the Union Budget.—Myo Hlaing
