Construction of  wells conducted by Department of Rural Development in eight villages in Meiktila Township has been completed.

Township Department of Rural Development is being undertaken construction of earthen lake and wells to solve water scarcity in some villages. In 2018-2019 FY, construction of machine wells and water tank made of brick was implemented in eight villages where usually face water scarcity in summer season.  

Therefore, officials from the Township Department of Rural Development handed over proper documents relating to the construction of wells to members of village committee. An official from the Department then shared knowledge on maintenance of wells to the members of the village committee.
