A rural road has been constructed in Mungdaw Village in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region and now, it has been completed 55 percent.
A gravel type road measuring six furlongs in length, 12 ft. in width and one ft. and nine inches in thickness is being constructed by a tender winning company with Ks. 31.5 million allotted by regional government in 2022-2023 FY.
During the inspection tour, officials and members of village development committee meet with the construction workers and stressed to meet the construction deadlines.
Once completed, it will benefit over 400 acres of farmland of 6551 local people from 1413 households in the village, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Hlaing Win Lay(Pwintbyu)
