Officials looked into the progress of the construction of concrete road at the entrance of school in Hpapun Village in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State this morning.

 

Officials from the District Department of Rural Development and members of village development committee met with construction workers and gave necessary instructions.

 

The concrete road measuring 150 ft. in length, 14 ft. in width and six inches in thickness is being constructed by 366 villagers with Ks. 10 million allotted by DRD.  The construction works of the concrete road have been completed 70 percent so far, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Kyaw Soe
