With the aim of improving socio-economic of rural people, the Township Department of Rural Development is implementing rural development projects in 34 villages in Wuntho Township, Sagaing Region. Now, the construction works of a concrete road in Mawkha Village was completed by 100 percent.
The road measuring 800 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in thickness was constructed with Ks. 8 million of DRD’s allocated funds.
The road will benefit 697 local people from 129 households in the village, according to U Myat Myo Tun, staff officer of the Township DRD. —Hmwe Kyu Yin
