With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, a rural road has been implemented since the first week of January this year, and officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the construction works of the road this morning.

During the inspection tour, officials led by U Win Zaw, staff officer of the District Department of Rural Development met with in-charge engineer of the construction company and gave necessary instructions and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.

A rural road measuring one mile and five furlongs long, 12 ft. wide and two ft. and nine inches high  is being constructed by a private tender winning company with Ks. 107.225 million of DRD’s funds allotted in 2022-2023 FY and now, all the projects have been completed 90 percent.—A Htway(DRD)
