A coordination meeting for the MFF Charity Cup 2020 was held yesterday at the meeting hall of the Myanmar National League Office in Yangon.
MNL CEO U Soe Moe Kyaw, DY CEO U Ye Myo Tun, Shan United F.C. coach U Han Win Aung, COO U Yezar Htwe, Yangon United F.C. manager U Myint Thein, MNL officials and referees, and officials from the medical department attended the meeting.
MNL CEO U Soe Moe Kyaw made the opening remarks at the meeting and also led the discussion about successfully holding the tourney, including matters regarding cooperation. The attending teams also discussed their requirements.
The decisions taken at the meeting include directly holding a penalty shootout without playing extra time if two teams are tied after 90 minutes of play, using only three foreign players at the same time though four foreign players can be included in the 18-player list, and allowing a maximum substitution of five players in a game.
The MFF Charity Cup 2020, to be played between Shan United and Yangon United, will start at 3:30 pm on 5 January at the Yangon United Sports Complex (YUSC).
Tickets for the match are priced at K2,000 for grandstand seats and K1,000 for ordinary seats.
All money received from Myanmar football fans will be donated to orphanages across Myanmar, according to the Myanmar National League’s website.
