A report writing team chaired by Deputy Minister for Information U Aung Hla Tun organized the first coordination meeting to produce an annual report of National Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (NCRPD).

The Deputy Minister presided over the meeting held at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.

He explained the formation of NCRPD in 2017, its working committee in the following year and a report writing committee to compile the facts and data of sub-committees.

U Win Naing Tun, the Director General of Department of Rehabilitation, collected documents, photos and information from sub-committees, relevant departments and related organizations for preparing the report.

The monthly reports of Myanmar Federation of Persons with Disabilities and State/Region offices were assessed and recorded at the meeting with the discussions of departmental officials.

The coordination meeting was concluded with the closing remark by the chairman of report writing team.
