A work coordination meeting on holding the 2020 General Elections was held at the meeting room of the district election sub-commission in Haka, Chin State yesterday afternoon.

Firstly, the chairman of the district election sub-commission explained tasks to be carried out for successful holding the 2020 General Elections and preparations to be made by township/ward/village election sub-committees. The secretaries of Haka and Thantlang township election sub-commissions also elaborated on compiling voter’s list and measures to be taken for holding the 2020 General Elections.

Next, Secretary of the district election sub-commission U Kyaw Soe Naing called for those present to systematically compile the accurate voter list for the 2020 General Elections, make arrangements for polling stations, hold coordination mettings between district, township, ward and village election sub-committees and  conduct training courses for polling station officers.
