A ceremony to wrap up foodstuff and basic commodities production course was held at the office of Mohnyin Township Rural Development Department in Kachin state this morning.

Township Administrator U Ye Aung in his remark encouraged the trainees to turn themselves into successful businessmen, applying the know-how accrued from the course in producing basic commodities.    

Then, a trainee, on behalf of the trainees, accepted certificates presented by Deputy Director U Thaung Htike of the District RDD and expressed thanks. The 15-day course was attended by 30 trainees from 12 villages.

It is learnt that the course was tailored to help the trainees produce foodstuff and basic commodities such as juice of five kinds, toilet soaps, shampoos, candles and key chains. —Kyaw Kyaw Htwe ( IPRD)
