A COVID-19 patient who was receiving medical treatment at COVID-19 center in Mongyaung Township, Tachileik District, Shan State (East) was discharged from the hospital this morning. 

First, Township Medical Officer from Township Public Health Department Dr. Min Thein, an official from Township General Administration Department and officials urged the patient to abide by the instructions guided by the Ministry of Health and Sports and to put herself under quarantine at home. 

Then, she was sent back to her home by the officials from the Township Red Cross Committee. In Mongyaung Township, there are a total of 12 COVID-19 positive patients. Out of them, 10 patients were discharged from the hospital and two patients are still receiving medical treatment at the hospital.
