With the aims of preventing and controlling the spread of COVID-19, health staff gave COVID-19 vaccines to schoolchildren over 12 years old at basic education schools in Salin Township, Minbu District, Magway Region.

The booster dose was given to schoolchildren over 12 years old starting from November 11 and a total of 1830 students have received booster dose up to November 14. In addition, booster dose program continues for those who have received full dose of COVID-19 vaccines.

Under the guidance of Chairman of COVID-19 Control and Emergency Response Committee, the vaccination activity was conducted by medical staff with the help of teachers.

In Salin Township, 7986 people have received vaccines until now and other people will be given COVID-19 vaccines, according to the Township General Administration Department.
