As part of crime prevention, 40 police members led by Police Major Thaung Win of Myingyan Township Police station handed out pamphlets on crime reduction messages to some 500 passers-by at the clock tower junction in ward-13 in the town of Myingyan, Mandalay Region this morning.

The campaign was conducted in order to prevent crimes including minor rape, human trafficking, and illegal drug transactions and to alleviate traffic accidents, according to information released by Myanmar Police Force.— MPF
