An event to present compensation for damaged croplands took place at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in Hsinbaungwe Township, Magway Region yesterday morning.
    

Some croplands were damaged when construction of a 230 kV Taungdwingyi-Shwetaung Power Transmission Line began in the township. On the occasion, the Upper House MP U Nay Htet Win and Township Administrator U Kyaw Soe Lin delivered speeches and Deputy Director of the Electricity Supply Enterprise U Soe Kyaw Wai clarified the purpose of presenting crop compensation.
    

Afterwards, concerned officials presented over K 7.1 million to 107 farmers for their damaged croplands.
