Under the supervision of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and the arrangement of Destination Asia Co., Ltd, a cruise ship known as MS Nautica carrying 1236 people including 850 tourists and 386 crewmen arrived at Myanmar International Terminals Thilawa (Thilawa Port ) in Yangon from Phuket Port in Thailand on 14 April.
The cruise ship carrying tourists from United State and other countries left Thilawa International Port for Cochin Port in India on 16 April after visiting Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay and Bago.
MS Nautica is a cruise ship, built for Renaissance cruises. It is now owned and operated by Oceania Cruises, where she is part of their Regatta Class. She was built in 2000 by the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France for Renaissance Cruises.—MDN
