THE 64th Myanmar Cy­cling Federation Presi­dent’s Cup will be held from 26 to 28 June.

 

On 26 June, the men's Elite category for riders aged 19 and above and the men's Junior category for riders aged 16 to 18 will compete in 100-kilometre road races. The races will start from Hlegu and run to the Phaunggyi junction and back.

 

The women's Elite category for riders aged 19 and above will com­pete in a 60-kilometre road race from Hlegu to milepost 14/1 and back.

 

On 27 June, an MTB race for men will be held. Competitors of any age may take part in the open category. The race will start in front of the signboard bearning “We Love Taikkyi” in Taikkyi and finish at the summit of Hmanpya Hill, with riders competing over a one-way course.

 

On 28 June, Crite­rium races will be held on the outer circuit road of the Thuwunna Youth Training Centre. The men's Junior category, for riders aged 16 to 18, will cover 15 laps over 20 kilometres. The women's Elite category, for riders aged 19 and above, will race 16 laps over 22 kilo­metres, while the men's Elite category, for riders aged 19 and above, will compete over 20 laps cov­ering 26 kilometres.

 

A special men's open-category elimina­tion race over 15 laps will also be held, with compet­itors of any age eligible to participate.
