Daw Khin Kyi Foundation donates medical equipment to rural hospital in Kawkarein Twsp.

Ceremonies to donate medical equipment to rural hospitals by Daw Khin Kyi Foundation were held at the hospitals in Kawkareik Township, Kayin State on 7 May.

Upper House Lawmakers Dr. Myo Aung and U Saw B San Thein Myint on behalf of Daw Khin Kyi Foundation donated medical equipment worth over Ks. 11 million to Kyonedoe Hospital and medical items valued at Ks. 579,063 to Taung Kyainn rural hospital through hospital heads and village administrators.

Medical supplies donated to two rural hospitals included surgical gowns, PPE suits, facemasks, sanitizers, thermometers, and portable speakers worth more than Ks. 1.7 million.

Arrangements are being made to donate medical equipment to Kotbein rural hospital to be used in the control and prevention of coronavirus in the area.—Khin Myo Win (IPRD)
